Jiggins Environmental offers an unrivalled 24 hour 7 day a week emergency breakdown service. We can attend system breakdowns and carry out tankering, unblocking of drains and flooding. We specialise in providing fast efficient breakdown callouts to both domestic and commercial sewage treatment plants and pump stations.

In the event that we are unable to get to you the same day we will attend first thing the following day. It is this dedication to attend any reported issues why some of the leading manufacturers regularly ask us to attend their clients breakdowns on there behalf.

Where ever possible breakdowns are fixed on site. Our vehicles are fully equipped with most of the parts that domestic and commercial sewage treatment plants and pump stations require. In the event that we cannot repair your plant or pump we will make every effort to carry out a short term temporary fix to get your your system up and running until we can return with the necessary parts.

Breakdowns on pump stations are the most common problem. Often pumps are blocked with debris and foreign objects such as make-up wipes, baby wipes, etc. You would be amazed at what our engineers find when they are clearing out pumps.

Most blocked pumps can be cleared onsite. If the pump is burnt out then it will be removed to our workshop for inspection and repair if possible. On twin pump stations we will set the system to run on the remaining pump. If it is a single pump we will try to install a temporary pump and if necessary arrange tanker emptying.
